This paper introduced the design and implementation of distributed control system(DCS)in 530kt/a sulphric acid plant of JNMC, including hardware software control configuration .The development of feildbus technology results in the changes in the construction of the traditional control system. This DCS provides a unified system platform for various industrial control bus application. This platform is compatible upwards with Integration system management an control by OPC technology, and is compatible downwards with various PLC and intelligent control devices ect by feildbus technology.System integration is an inevitable trend in industrial process automation control development. OPC technology provides an efficient way to integrate different kinds of control systems. This document defines the OPC Data Access for developers of OPC clients and OPC Data Access Servers. This paper is intended to show how we implement system integration by using OPC technology with a developing instance of OPC clients's program .HLD power supply technology based on DCS controlling is expounded that is used for the electrostatic Mist precipitator, and the theoretical foundation of the current source is explained in detail. The complex control scheme is implemented by the algorithm developed in Conmaker development environment.The pressure control in Smelter Sulphuric Acid system is an industrial process with time lag,uncertainty and big inertia. Therefore designing a singl neuron selfadaptive PID method for the pressure control loop and proposes a method for configuration and online adjustment. This method has the features of simple structure and easy to realize in distributed control system(DCS)。The main realized principle,basic frame and characteristic of the fuzzy logic control arithmetic is introduced, and discusses in detail The Design and implementation of control strategy of sulphuric acid concentration by adopting the fuzzy logic control arithmetic in drying and absorption section, which solves the control problems on sulphuric acid concentration control . it has made good effects in practice.Some APC (advanced process control) strategy etc improving efficiency are provided to decrease energy requirements, consumption and operation cost and increase economic benefits of the sulphric acid plant.
