Research Of Business Process Management System Based On Ontology

Facing increasingly fierce competitive environment,enterprises need to apply the more effective management system in order to promote their own responsive abilities and competitive power.Business process management is an advanced enterprise reforming management idea aiming at adapting to the rapidly changeable environment and building normalized end-to-end excellent business process,and promoting continually business performances of organization and core competitive power of enterprise.But business processes are hard to implement collaboration and share information because various heterogeneous systems in enterprises have data redundance and incoherency.This paper adopts the ontology idea in the field of business process management in order to implement sharing and reusing the process among various application systems and enterprises.Ontology can define a series of concepts and relations among them of concepts in semantic level of a domain,and describe formally business process in ontology description language,and express clearly and accurately the business requirements without valuable information loss.In order to create business process ontology, firstly ,we need to describe interrelated concepts of business process domain.OWL is a strict logical description language,and it can clearly express the process terms and relations among terms.It offers more primitives to sustain more affluent semantic expression and stronger reasoning power. So the paper adopts OWL language to describe domain ontology and case ontology of business process.Case-based reasoning is an artificial intelligence technique of reasoning based on experience knowledge.The paper creates the business process knowledge base with the idea of case-based reasoning.and adopts goals-based method to model business processes,and stores the business process model in the process knowledge base in file-stored fashion.This can make business process,as a media,identify semantically business process management domain concepts among different application system,avoiding repetition of designing the process,implementing sharing and reusing of process.The paper discusses the basic idea of ontology-based semantic information retrieval in order to implement retrieving the process and relative information of process in knowledge base,and puts forward a method of computing degree of semantic concept similarity and relationship.We can fully explore connotative relative knowledge of ontology,and improve the relativity of searching results.The paper implements partial functions of business process management system based on ontology,and introduces building process case in process knowledge base through analyzing and describing and storing the purchase business process.The paper puts forward and implements retrieval of concept level and concept connotative semantic retrieval of process ontology,retrieval process case Jena-based,and exports visually resulting of retrieval.
