The development of network technology is changing human life. At the same time, the museum is changing from traditional museum to digital museum. But with the great improvement of the Internet bandwidth and 3D graphic technology, the simple technology which only uses character, text or static picture on the traditional Web pages could not satisfy the internet visitors any more. The more interactive 3D Web page technology is expected imperiously. Fortunately, the rapid development of Virtual Reality in these ten years has turned the beautiful dream of virtual scene into possibility, and the appearance of LVRM (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) will turn the possibility of virtual 3D web page into reality finally.This thesis has mainly completed the following work:1. Through the earnest study and summary of the railway digital science and technology museum, railway digital science and technology museum general overhead construction is proposed. Meanwhile the digital science, technology museum digital resources digitized plan and user's demonstration platform technology are choiced and standered.2. Based on the comparison foundation of the domestic with foreign hypothesized scenes realization technology, a concrete technical plan for railway digital science andtechnology museum virtual reality system is proposed and established. The research key point is the hypothesized driving of train.3. In order to reduce the downloading time of the VR scene and enhance the speed of the realization browsing, in the paper, the compressed file length, notice board pitch point are used to reduce the scene scale. And the simplification scene (For example use texture pastes chart), the Inline, Anchor pitch point are adopted to enhance the speed. Finally the further optimization of the hypothesized scene will be realized by the above meaures.4. This thesis partially realized the design of the demonstrate platform about the railway digital science and technology museum and the three dimensional VR scene foundation.
