The Virtual reality technology, a combination of different subjects of a technology, isdeveloped in the late20th century, involved in many high-tech fields of research andapplication. That has the very good application prospect and development in various fieldssuch as education, entertainment, aerospace, military and so on. At present, in order to protectand spread and research historical and cultural heritage, many countries are actively theconstruction of the digital museum, which represents the country’s history and culture.Therefore, protection of cultural heritage and carrying on the digital became one of the keyissues of the various countries’ research. The paper researches as background of the “Gan SuDigital Museum”, and this paper mainly from the3D scene modeling technology, roamingtechnology of3D scene, dynamic scene splicing technology and implementation of virtualmuseum to study. The main work and process are as follows:(1) In this paper, the three-dimensional scene modeling technology and digital museumof virtual scene modeling method are based on the analysis and research on the generalmodeling method of3D scenes, and according to the different features of various kinds ofmodeling method. Digital museum of the overall structure of the virtual scene and theoreticalbasis are based on technical solution of the modeling process as well as the scene organizationstructure and so on technical. The technical scheme is feasible.(2) For the technical problems of virtual museum3D scene roaming, the paper introducesthe organization way based on a BSP tree scene, which proposes BSP tree building algorithmof avoiding triangular and objects segmentation, leaves nodes stored objects used in thevisibility of the cone cutting and the collision detection based on the ball.(3) In terms of image registration, the paper proposes an improved method based onfeature matching; In the aspect of image fusion, this article uses gradually into the coming outof an improved algorithm. Realizing the simple dynamic scene by VRML, can produce vividanimation effects, make the observer the feeling of life near his border.(4) VRML scene in Java control complex three-dimensional dynamic scenes based onVRML. The paper presents a virtual roaming scenarios platform which supports HTML5,When we need real-time display the dynamic scene in the platform, users in the museum canbe a good interaction in virtual scene roaming..
