The Design And Implement Of IT Equipment Management System Based On SNMP

This paper concentrates on the design and realization of IT equipment management system based on SNMP. Firstly, brings forward the system structure and function model, including five function modules: topology management, performance management, alarm management, security management, and log management. Secondly, data collection and data base design are introduced, gives an account of SNMP data collect process detailedly. Including collect period ascertaining, collect object ascertaining, the performance parameter calculation, the data collection process. Thirdly, part in function realization module, integration network management platform developing principle is introduced, gives an account of the alarm management realization method and interface function of system mainly. In the end, summarizes the characteristic of IT equipment management system, and points out the deficiency of the system and the content needing to continue studying next step.
