With the increasing application of geographic information system more widely,and in response to the design of spatial database is high and efficiency requirements.Geographic information system development is inseparable from the support of spatial database,the spatial database design mainly to Arc SDE and Oracle,SQL server and other combined to construct a comprehensive spatial database,due to the multi temporal spatial data unique,multi-scale and polymorphism decided the complexity of spatial data and the characteristics of mass,the low efficiency of spatial database response.Design and performance optimization technology of spatial database,has become an important topic of contemporary scholars.This topic is in the Dabie Mountain in Anhui Province in low hilly area of space database as the research object,through the GIS technology and the mathematical model and spatial data dynamic association,using a comprehensive model of spatial database establishment in hilly area of land.There is a important significance of database establishment is beneficial to consolidate and enhance the efficiency of the Dabie Mountain Area in hilly area of land use,the Dabie Mountain area economy,ecology and so on.Put emphasis on using space clustering CLIQUE algorithm and Rtree based method of spatial data index structure,index optimization of spatial data,improve the response rate of the spatial database.Moreover,the index is used in the"Anhui Dabie Mountain hilly area of space database,the results with the experimental results agree well with the results.In this thesis,the main research contents are as follows:(1)Summarizes the research status quo of spatial database optimization GIS development status at home and abroad.(2)Discussed implementation method of the basic theory of spatial database design and Dabie Mountain in Anhui Province in hilly area of space database,covering the database design principle,concept design,logic design,physical design,spatial database creation process,attribute data and space data storage.(3)Summarized based on Arc SDE and SQL server are combined to establish the method for the optimization of the spatial database,including: optimization method of Arc SDE and SQL Server database optimization method,optimized method to map spatial data,spatial data index optimization method,spatial clustering optimizationmethod.(4)Focuses on the idea of spatial clustering algorithm clique and R-tree index and realization method,based on the spatial clustering algorithm clique and R-tree based spatial data index structure method and describe the spatial clustering algorithm clique and R-tree based spatial data index structure design thought and realization method,to map spatial data index optimization,through the contrast experiment,the spatial clustering algorithm clique and the R-tree combines the optimization method of construction index of spatial data,spatial database and the response rate to improve the 8.64%.Will the index used in the "Anhui Dabie Mountain hilly area of space database,the results with the experimental results agree well with the results and spatial database and system operation are stable.
