In recent years, mobile communication has developed rapidly. Based on the advantages of mobility, real-time, rapid communication and broad coverage area, GPRS and CDMA communication techniques are widely used in industry and our daily life. In this dissertation, the popular mobile communication techniques is combined with embedded system and real-time database to develop a wireless remote monitoring system based on GPRS or CDMA communication platform. This system eliminates the traditional limit of district and lowers the application cost, makes real-time monitor more convenient than ever before.The dissertation begins with the research of the current state of remote monitoring system. Then China Mobile Communication System, the theory and feature of CDMA and GPRS is described systematically, which provides enough knowledge for further research. In the dissertation, the feature of remote control system, CDMA and GPRS are combined together. Then we put forward the design of remote control system based on mobile platform. Also the function of all the components is described.From the aspects of improving stability and robustness of the system, this dissertation describes the design of the monitoring terminal hardware and application software system in detail. This paper also gives out the realization of industry data collection, save, query and uploading based on μC/OS- II RTOS. Joint tests prove that the system is stable and perfect.The last part of the paper gives summary of the whole design of the project, and the developing tendency of wireless remote monitoring system.
