China has become the world's automobile production and sales power, and the current per capita car ownership in China is still quite low, as 132 per thousand, which is far below the amount of per capita in developed countries, so the development of China's automobile industry also has a fairly extensive prospects. However, auto theft happened in China is also quite serious. According to official statistics, more than 10 million national auto theft cases occur each year, and average of more than 300 vehicles are stolen each day. Vehicle theft has brought huge economic losses to human beings. The existing car anti-theft technologies have the shortcomings of being simple and single functional. One is that the alarm is of short length, and the other is the lack of effective control of stolen vehicles. With the improvement of wireless network technology, video technology, automotive bus as well as embedded processor performance, new ideas and new tools in the automotive anti-theft technology are proposed.First of all, the current situation of domestic and international car theft is analyzed. Then, according to the shortcomings of existing car alarm, embedded remote car Real-time Monitoring System based on a new video technology combined with GPRS and high-performance processors is proposed to improve the reliability of automobile anti-theft system. This issue introduces the overall scheme of the remote control system. The method of combining image acquisition module, GPRS module, sensor module, CAN bus and car AMT technology is selected to build the system and design the hardware structure of the whole system. Each module's working principle and implementation methods are introduced in details as well. Finally, the software design of the whole system is presented in this paper. In order to improve the system's performance, Linux system is transplanted into the embedded processor to realize concurrency processing of multi-tasks with Linux's multi-threading technology. embedded remote car Real-time Monitoring System is designed with the idea of modularization, which is easy for system functions' subsequent upgrades. The system basically achieves the established design goals, and provides a new design direction for a new generation of car security systems study.
