Base stations is the most basic unit in Mobile network. The Base Station Monitor System is the system which is used for enhancing the management of China Mobile Company, It can be used as a method for providing the quantity of network and make the attendant find the problem in time. The base station monitoring system is one of the effective measures to safeguard and protect various Power equipments and air- conditionings in inner base station, so as to make base stations run effectively. With the rapid development of mobile communications, many contradictions are discovered recently, such as: system Separation between mobile communication and local cable communication, weak operation of mobile communication heavy work load for maintenance. Mobile base stations and wireless base stations generally have the following characters: decentralized Multi-sites, constrained resources, a small number of power equipment of base station, less investment for station equipments, unstable Power grid situation, rather poor environment of machine room, Moreover, no workers arranged on duty for most time. On the mobile communication network for Jinhua city, the number of base stations currently has more than 1000 on the network. The original way of the base station monitoring system, only achieving all kinds of alarm status display, can not provide specific analysis of the data so that the timeliness and accuracy of ourwork can not be guaranteed.Real-time remote monitoring system base station based on GPRS is designed for thepresent situation of mobile base stations. Firstly, this paper analyzed the present situation and the necessity of and our national mobile base station monitoring system. The remote real-time monitoring system in base station based on GPRS was proposed. Through the collecting parameters of mobile communication base station environmental data and power supply, battery status, system uploads it to the server using GPRS and Internet. Each workstation can access to the relevant page of the server to cany out the relevant operation using the corresponding account number and password. The base station monitors upload alarm information to the server immediately when detecting the data out of threshold, and the server informs the workstation at the same time. This paper expounds system operation mechanism systematically, and introduces a quasi-periodic signal sampling method.In this paper, chapter I did an overview the monitoring system and draws conclusions that Adopting GPRS communication mode was more economical and effective after comparing several communication modes, and pointed out that the remote base station GPRS-based real-time monitoring system of remote significance and difficulties.Chapter II mainly described the principle of GPRS wireless transmission, and introduced GPRS communications implementation and basic work flow.Chapter III introduced the main monitoring target of the inner base station e and the overall implementation plan. Then the every hardware modules of the monitoring system, including the main control module, GPRS module, switching power supply module and the battery monitoring modules, were analyzed, and its internal mechanism was showed in detail.The base station monitoring system software main flow and the module flow are described in Chapter IV, focusing on the software design of communications part.In Chapter V, a new system of quasi-periodic signal sampling method was introduced and the method of performance and error analysis was presented.Chapter VI summed up the work of the dissertation, and made some suggestion for further work.
