Currently the conveyer belt with steel wire ropes is already extensively applied in realms such as mine,port and wharf etc,and it is one of the main transmitting equipments in the domestic and international modern production. Because of the increasing load, rowing by the stumbling block to harm and aging etc, it's easy to bring troubles such as the steel ropes in the belt conveyer rusted, broken or the joint elongated etc. Once the troubles occur, they will result in important safe accident,the huge economic loss and casualties. They will seriously influent safety production.The thesis analyses the principle of the X-ray detection, and puts forward a overall design project of the conveyer belt with the steel ropes no-destructive detection system based on the principle of X-ray detection and build system hardware terrace, we study the calculating way of the X light image processing, develop the applied software of the system using C#.NET on the platform of Windows XP adopting the modularization program design method, and in this way we realize the function of X light image processing of the conveyer belt with the steel ropes and trouble alarming . This software has many advantages such as simple operation, friendly interface, clear image manifestation and accurate breaking detection etc.
