Research And Implementation Of Mobile Value-added Service Platform Based On OTA

Along with the combination development of Internet and mobile communication and the popularization of mobile device with WAP functions, there is a lot of potential in mobile value-added service. Mobile value-added service is very important to mobile carriers and content providers not only at present but also after 3G. Many companies provided its own mobile value-added service platform solution, such as MOTOROLA, UT Star, ZHUO WANG, HUA WEI and ZHONG XIN. These solutions all support contents management, users management, devices management, download, billing functions. This article will do research on these universal functions, put forward a universal mobile value-added service platform solution and introduce how to support OMA DRM.Chapter 1 introduces the OTA technology, current state of mobile value-added service platform and research contents and meaning of this article. Chapter 2 describers the relevant protocols of mobile value-added service platform, such as WAP, PAP, PUSH OTA. Chapter 3 discusses system architecture, contents management, OMA DRM, users management, devices management, download mode and process, WAP PUSH and billing of the platform. Chapter 4 gives the implementation of the platform, mainly describes the implementation of WAP portal, contents download and billing. Chapter 5 discussed the future research of mobile value-added service platform.
