Internet and mobile communications are developed rapidly in recent years. The Mobile Network, resulting from the integration of the two technologies, has brought great business opportunities and influenced the way that people live and work enormously. However, it is only a dream to access to internet through mobile devices in a long period of time. Wireless application protocol (WAP) is created in such an environment. It is the emergence of WAP, who accelerates the pace of the integration of mobile communications and internet. At the same time, mobile value-added service based on wireless application protocol will also have a broad development space.Based on the brief introduction of design concept and design model of wireless application protocol, the thesis goes deep into the study of the architecture of wireless application protocol and describes WAP2.0 in detail. Combined with other computer technology, the thesis brings forward a solution of the mobile value-added service system based on wireless application protocol, and finally accomplishes the system--Axband PlatformⅡ. The system has features of user-friendly, good-looking, easy-to-use, management flexible, easy to expand and so on. The thesis introduces the design concepts, specifications, developing and operating environment as well as the overall structure, and gives a systematic analysis of the four aspects: mobile terminal, network layer, business logic layer, data and content service layer. Based on the above discussion the thesis gives an introduction of the wireless application protocol's model. The thesis presents some important technologies used in the system, and analysis the evaluation of the system in the last part.
