In recent years, the speedy development of industry accelerates Chinese economy. Synchronously, the demand of Power is increasing. Nevertheless, the power industry is enduring great stress, e.g. the markup of coal results in the increase of cost, which request for the facility higher efficiency, lower maintenance costs. Therefore, there are important economic value and study value for us to research and develop the relevant administrative system of power plant which can optimize source equipment of power company; increase the rate of discovering accidents; ensure the enterprise to produce safely; cut down the cost of repair; improve repairing efficiency; promote the development of enterprise and improve company's ability of competition.In this paper, based on the asset lifecycle management theory of owing to equipment life cycle, the three tier architecture of EAM is also set forth, which is used to develop the Enterprise Asset Management system of power plant. Equipment management is divided into two stages, the earlier stage and the later stage. Relating to equipment management, it discusses the management of goods and materials, protecting, running, documents and cost. Based on the studies, which are referred to above, it also studies the realization of system's software, and proposes the plan of the information system constructs of each stage. In the end of this paper, an instance of Enterprise Asset Management and Sequential Inspection Management system about SXPD is given to reference. The Sequential Inspection Management System of Pucheng power plant is developed on the base of existing EAM flat. This system adopts three-ply C/S mode. The system provides standard inspecting-spot Plan Function, institute inspecting- spot Plan, and allocate inspecting-spot Mission. Inspecting-spot administrative personnel, who make use of intellectual point inspection tools, output mission list, execute point inspection mission in strict sequence, and input point inspection result. Through inquiring about data anddiagnose software analyzing tools, inspection management control equipment situation quickly in order to eliminate equipment's deficiency and make inspection policy. The establishing of point inspection System have a active affection on many aspects, such as extending interval of regular inspection, shortening inspection time, improving dependability and usableness coefficient of equipment, prolonging equipment life, lowering inspection expenses and so on.
