Design And Implementation Of Smart Asset Management Platform Based On Multidimensional Perception

The rapid development of Internet and the widespread of intelligent manufacturing,enterprises are faced with the transition from the traditional manufacturing model to the intelligent manufacturing model.However,the traditional ERP systems usually focus on the management level decision-making,while ignore the front-line operation and asset management.This research investigate and analyze the asset management problems via a real life chemical enterprise,which has difficulties in machine management,machine patrol and inspection management,and machine data collection problems.Therefore,the overall research aim is to design a set of intelligent asset management solutions,and implement an enterpriselevel Smart Assert Management Platform based on multidimensional perception to solve the asset management problems.The implementation of the proposed Smart Asset Management Platform is divided into three layers: the application service layer,the mobile operation layer and the data capturing layer.The top layer is the application service layer.This layer provides various visualized tools for management to manage asset information,patrol tasks,human resources and data reports.Various technologies,such as HTTPS,SSH,SQL Server,etc.,are used for supporting this platform.The middle layer is the mobile operation layer.In this layer,an Android-based application is developed to assist operators in the asset patrol and inspection operation.The bottom layer is the data capturing layer,which includes several capturing devices or systems.Such as electronic tags,smart pen,DCS and MSA.The smart pen integrates with RFID,barcode,and temperature sensors in order to help operators collect asset status and feedback to the platform.This design of the Smart Asset Management Platform which is easy to deploy and highly scalability is based on a multi-dimensional perception.At present,the platform has been steadily operated in a pilot chemical enterprise for two months,and significantly solves their asset management problems,asset patrol and inspection problems.
