As a typical asset-intensive industry,the information management of equipment assets is the difficulty of carrying out the enterprise management informationization of power enterprises.Although there are many electric power enterprises are using the enterprise asset management(EAM)to realize the information management of power equipment and facilities,however,due to the information is limited to the department or professional classification,which failed to form a complete and standardized power grid enterprise's equipments asset management system.In addition,EAM is commonly used on the market based on component-oriented systems architecture,and it has good flexibility,but the systems are tightly coupled,unable to adapt to network equipment replacement and upgrade the system,thereby limiting the application of EAM system.China Southern Power Grid Corp is a new type of power grid enterprises,the implementation of information management is the development goal of the enterprise,how to combine the actual needs of enterprise equipment asset management is an important challenge to develop asset management system.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of the asset management system of the South China power grid based on SOA.The system uses a hybrid architecture based on MVC architecture and Web service layer,using SQL Server2008 to develop the back-end database,we use Visual Studio.NET2010 to achieve the various functions of the system.The system was tested by the black box testing method,and the SilkPerformer tool,and it is proved that the system meets the design requirements.The main research works and achievements of this paper are listed in the follows.(1)According to the problems existing in the original equipment management system of South China power grid,such as extensive management,lack of business contacts and lack of data exchange,the problem of information island effect,in this paper,we presents a design scheme of asset management system based on Service Oriented Architecture(SOA).The system takes the data collection as the center,takes the internal application and the external service as the main line,has formed the integrated service platform which integrates various kinds of data in the system,thus completely solved the problem of the information isolated island.(2)The equipment management system we designed can carry out information management to the whole life cycle of assets equipment in power grid enterprises,and it can make use of the key information of enterprise assets to carry on the advanced analysis and decision application,so as to improve the efficiency of enterprise equipment asset management.(3)We complete the design of data base model,design the system backstage database by using SQL Server 2008,and use Visual Studio.NET2010 programming to realize the function of the assets management system.The black box testing method is used to test the function of the system.The results show that the system meets the design requirements.(4)We use modular design to improve the scalability of the system.The system uses the J2EE framework to design and develop,allowing for the use of new functional modules at the later stage of the system,thus reducing the cost of system development and improving the practicability of the system.System scalability for the southern Power Grid Corp provides a high-performance southern power grid enterprise asset management system,in the next period of time to ensure that the system is not outdated.
