Design And Realization Of Wireless Communication Module For Modular Production System

With the development of modular manufacturing technology, virtual manufacturing(VM) is becoming more and more important and its requirement is much higher. Virtual manufacturing makes use of information technology, 3-dimension(3-D) simulation technology and computer techniques. It conducts a systematic organization and analysis of manufacturing, makes models for the whole manufacturing process, and does assessment and simulations on specific actions on computers. Besides, it describes the whole process using the virtual manufacturing model and has predicating ability of both the product performance and manufacturing. Its core technology includes virtual reality, modeling and simulation. In this paper, the 3-D simulation technology is used on the modeling manufacturing system. The Yalong YL-204MPS manufacturing equipment in CIMS laboratory of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is utilized as the platform. Virtual reality and OpenGL technology is combined to simulate the actions of the load monitoring station on the configuration and monitoring software. The virtual manufacturing environment is constructed using the computer, the peripheral interactions and software, which provides a vivid image interface and meets the virtual manufacturing technological requirements of a modular manufacturing system.This paper is conducted in the following several parts.Firstly, the development situation of modular manufacturing system is introduced. The application of virtual manufacturing technology and 3-D simulation technology is also mentioned.
