Unify retrieval means that users can get what they want to query with a unified search interface, and they only need choose the data sources they want. It changes that users need go to different search interface to get the result they want and is great convenience to users. The information integration platform is the core of unified retrieval system. It responsible for the translation of users request, distributing the user request to the right adapter according to the request content, getting and integrating the result from the adapter and finally returning to the users.From the current mature structure of the software design and software development, we design a strong, reliable and scalable structure of information integration platform. There are theoretical analysis and explanations about the structure's capabilities and characteristics. According to the characteristics of the information integration platform, it mainly used Web Services technology to realize. It is proved that the function and performance of the platform has matched the expected goal through a large number of experiments on the information integration platform.
