Research On The Technology Of Information Organization And Information Services In Digital Library

Digital library is a crucial technology to solve the overload of the Internet information and one of the mediums of sharing resource and discovering knowledge. With the rapid development of Internet, digital library information resources are increasing with geometric series. In the face of tremendous amount of network resources, how to organize and describe digital library information resources so as to readers can find and utilize them expediently is a problem that the libraries must solve urgently. The ultimate goal of the digital library is to create high-effective compact and flexible information serving system. So the paper studies and explores to the two key technologies: information organization and information services of digital library.Firstly, based on DLIO and the summarization of metadata, this paper illustrates the organization structure of DL's information resources, the essentialness of metadata's application in DLIO. The paper uses the information organization scheme based on metadata, proposes the metadata scheme of digital library. The scheme takes the Dublin Core metadata sets as a core, corresponding to a variety of different types of resources metadata methods coexist, based on XML, use RDF to describe different metadata and content management into a unified system.Secondly, we research on the digital library interoperability. The paper analyzes the current digital library interoperability solutions. Introduce the grid technology, a solution of digital library interoperability based on grid and OAI frame is put forword. The scheme associates with the web widespread distribution and isomerism digital libraries, finishes the seamless connection of the isomerism resource databases.Moreover, we research the personalized active information services indigital library. Including the resources describe model, user profile and update algorithm, the information filtering technology. Based on this a kind of personalized active information services model based on multi-agent is proposed.Finally, we design the information filtering algorithms.
