On History And Current Situation Of Chinese Press Supplement In Indonesia

Indonesian Chinese literature originated and developed from the Chinese press supplement in Indonesia. Besides of that, Chinese press supplement shouldered the task of spreading Chinese culture. After experiencing the change from "fallen leaves return to the ground" to "falling to the ground and taking roots" during the past one century, Indonesia-bom Chinese had become one part of the Indonesian mixed-nationality. By means of setting up pages such as Traditional Chinese medicine, Swordsmen novels, Chinese calligraphy, etc. Indonesian Chinese press supplement still continues to preserve and develop the traditional Chinese culture.This thesis aims to identify Chinese press supplement in Indonesia contributed a lot to what referred before, through looking back its developing history and analyzing the current supplement pages and columns. According to that, some opinions and suggestions will be given to the future of Chinese press supplement in Indonesia.
