In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy and increasinginternational exchanges, the value of the Chinese along rising,"Chinese fever" phenomenonis not only worldwide, but also presents the ascendant trend.For Chinese people, learningChinese is a historical responsibility and it should start with children. But nowadays manymiddle school and primary school students use computer to do their homework, over-relianceon the keyboard and ignoringwriting, which causes their poor writing ability. On the otherhand, with the rapid development of communication technology, mankind has entered the eraof mobile Internet, a variety of mobile terminals come into the lives of ordinary people. It isin this background that this paper puts forward Chinese Handwriting Intelligent LearningSystem for iOS Mobile Terminal. The work has been done and the innovations are listed asfollows:(1)Contrasting to writing Chinese characters learning software on iPad in my research, Idesigned and implemented the writing Chinese characters learning systembased on iPadplatform Writing Chinese with Me. It isan educational App in the App Store and providesa wealth of writing Chinese characters learning education, including writing characters,phrase learning, dictation, search new characters and look through basic information of everycharacter. The study covers the primary school textbooks of Renjiao version, Sujiao versionand Stanford Chinese School.(2) The system provides3funny games for users to detect their learning effect andenhance more interesting: The users need to select correct one from four candidate charactersaccording to Chinese Pinyin or English mean in Chinese and Pinyin, Chinese and English.The character puzzle upsets the Chinese character components random. The users need to putthese components into a right character.(3) In order to improve system’s interaction, a community is set up in the system, makingusers learn Chinese in groups. In community, users can register and login, share his writingand look through all writings other users shared. At the same time, every user has hisintegration and can see their standings in community.(4) After finishing developing the system, we do experiments to optimize the memory performance and test functional modules for entire system. And we also compare this systemwith the same type popular Apps in App Store from installation package size, memory, thenumber of new character and phrase and functions and give thecomparison results.
