The voice value-added services have experienced brilliance and low ebb since coming to China in 1990s. At present the domestic market of voice value -added services is in a serious homogenization of competition. But as there are many diverse types and the amount of user is very huge, the voice value-added services still have good market prospects.With the rapid development of related technology and the envolution of three networks, the voice value-added business platform is improving. In order to adapt to the market and technological advances, voice value-added business platform should have open, flexible, and comprehensive features. At the same time the platform should have the ability to cut down the development cycle of business and to reduce development costs. This paper will introduce an open, flexible, integrated distributed platform providing voice value-added services. The platform will be designed for network integration and the trend of rapid development of the business. It can provide a wide range of voice value-added services with perfect operation and management environment. It could supprot a variety of underlying hardware access and be deployed remotely. Firstly, this paper introduces the voice value-added service market and the status of relevant technologies. Secondly, the platform architecture design, the software level, the platform module division, the main module design, internal communications mechanism design and platform evaluation programme are mainly described basing on the requirement of the platform. Thirdly, the paper disscusses the realization of some main modules and parts of the important implementation process. Finally, further work is discussed in brief on the basis of the test results.This paper presents the programme of a distributed platform for integrated voice value-added services, which achieves a certain reference value for the future platform architecture design and implementation. The main design features of the platform are the openness of the platform structure, the support of multiple voice board and support to a wide range of integrated voice value-added services.
