Along with the development of the information technology, industrialization promoted by informatization has already become a common opinion that it can improve the general competition ability of process industrial enterprises and keep the enterprises in the successful position. The enterprises are quickening the steps of their information construction. With the gradually opening after China's entering WTO and the speeding of the economic globalization, the petrochemical enterprises playing an very important role in the national economy are facing huge opportunities and challenges. Being in the global market environment full of fierce competitions and facing various opportunities and challenges, the home petrochemical enterprise are speeding CIPS construction just with the three-layer(ERP/MES/PCS) system structure of comprehensive automation of process industry for guide. The management style of petrochemical enterprises is changing, and the general automation is the inevitable trend for the development of the petrochemical enterprises.Aiming at the fact that each application system of MES in the petrochemical enterprises insulates from each other, the resource sharing can't be carried out directly and a great number of"information isolated islands" exist, this article analyzes the basic function of a data integration in the MES and the comprehensive automation of the whole enterprises , which is set in the process industry in terms of enterprise integrated automation.Firstly, the thesis makes an assay of information demand for the integrated automation , the acquisition and way of storage characteristic of basic data, which includes the main way of data collection and the staple data communication to direct at the problem of petrochemical enterprise integrated automation data integration Secondly, it introduces the real-time database technology in the process industry integrated automation system.
