This thesis mainly research the embedded system based on ARM9 and embedded real-time Linux core which are used to design the Real-time Wireless Network Terminal to collect and control data. This device can collect and transmit data with GPRS network and can be used in the applications of embedded data communication or locale control realm, especially in this thesis is used in the electric power network SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. The network terminal has the advantages of strong operation ability, better Real-time feature, physical volume small, moveable, convenient network function, system stability, strong transplant feature, cheap price , two times development etc.Because of the definite purpose of the embedded system, its real-time characteristic request to meet the various different applied objects. How to make sure whether a certain embedded system has real-time characteristic of contented design request or not and how satisfy the real-time request in different embedded applied systems already become the key technique in the embedded system development.The mainly work is to research the Embedded Wireless Network Terminal operation system's real-time characteristic and satisfy the electric power network SCADA's real-time characteristic request by improving the Linux core's real-time characteristicWith the development of the embedded system software and hardware's maturity and stability, embedded system enriched application and development in wireless network realm. If the wireless network leaves the embedded Linux system, the customer has to use huge computer to realize connect function with each other, or has to cost a great deal of time and funds to develop or purchase homologous network and data connect agreement for a embedded system. Therefore, under the existing technique condition, comprehensiving embedded Linux technique and GPRS network to collect and transmit data in particular situation is a choice which has foreground very much.
