With the continuous innovation and development of micro-electron technology, the embedded system has already widely pervaded in many domains, such asscientific research, engineering design, national defense military, automated controleven aspects of people's daily life. The combination of embedded system withcommunication and network technology not only enormously strengthens networkintellectualization and flexibility, but also expends the communication functions.Thus it completes the connections among different communication systems.In this paper, the realization of direct communication without PC in differentembedded application systems is proposed. All of our work is based on embeddedprocessor S3C2410X in ARM9 skeleton, and embedded Linux operating system. Theprocessor S3C2410X integrates rich peripheral resources and supports manyinterfaces of peripheral equipment. Therefore it can satisfy functional requirement ofthis design. The real time and multitask mechanism of Linux operating systemsatisfies real time requirement of this system.The formal organization of this paper is as follows. Chapterl provides theresearch background of topics. The chapter2 discusses the overall design proposaland composition modules of the system. Chapter3 and Chapter4 firstly introduce the platforms of software and hardware and its establishment. Then the paper discussesthe microprocessor and the embedded operation system adopted in our system indetail. Chapter 5 presents the analysis of realization of each composition modules ofsystem. Finally, chapter 6 carries on the summary to this design work.
