Studies On SCADA System Based On GPRS And Internet

Along with the development of the mobile communication technology and market , the mobile data communication has become the new developing orientation of the data communication. GPRS is one of the realizations based on GSM Phase 2.1,and it supports the protocol of IP. So that it can afford a self-contained communication project based on the TCP/IP protocol.The Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system(SCADA) is an attemperment automatization system based on computer. It can supervise and control the operating facilities on the spot. The maturity and broad applications of GPRS technology provide a new communication mode for SCADA system.The paper mainly introduces the design of SCADA system data center station, including design of TCP server base on I/O completion port, design of reliable UDP server, design of application protocol, design of B/S information system. The mode of multi-layer monitor and administration is introduced. Internet is used in the communication between different level center stations, which gather data in high-level center station and makes high-level station can manager low-level station.The SCADA system based on GPRS and Internet has a even more broader application scope that is applicable to almost all sorts of data transition operations with middle or low rate in any environment such as environmental monitoring,persona information, finance, traffic and so on.
