NC (Numberical Control) system is technology core of NC machine which is a key of the advanced manufacturing equipments,so it is important to study and master the technology inorder to improve the manufacturing level of our country.The development of NC system has two trends at home. On the one hand, we develop full-function and a high degree of automation NC system; on the other hand, we should spread the economic NC system by the greatest extent in domestic market to accelerate transformation of existing production systems and to meet the needs of appropriate all kinds of levels of production. At present, the economic NC system occupies a major quotient of domestic NC system market, which have many advantages, such as lower prices, mezzo precision, well function pertinence and so on. But economic NC systems has some main disadvantages such as the lower extent of hardware integration,the lower precision of control and the lower interpolation speed and so on.Moreover openness of the system is not enough and the ability of dealing with multitast is weak.To resolve these problems, this paper brings forward the design of embedded two-axes numerical control system based on Hardware-based interpolation chip, which bases on the analysis of the theory of economic NC system in domestic market. This design adopts N80C196K-SCM as primary cup; MCX314-motorial control chip as the secondary CPU, which can account for a lot of disadvantages of the national economic numerical control system such as the low level of hardware-based integration, the low precision and the low frequency of operation. At the same time, the design also make use of embedded operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱto make the system deal with multitask better ensuring the real time capability.X axis and Z axis are controlled by MCX314-motorial control chip in the economic NC system. Software-interpolation function is replaced of line-interpolation and arc-interpolation function in motorial control chip in economic NC system, which can enhance economical NC systemic performance and speed up the processing speed of interpolation computer. This paper introduces some MCX314 movement control software interface function and the realization of these functions.In order to achieve and enhance the openness of NC systems, an embedded operating system-μC/OS-II is transplanted to N80C196KC-SCM in economic NC system. The real-time and multitask capacity inμC/OS- II can enhance real-time control and multitask capacity in economic NC system.
