The Research On Simulation Of Production Logistics System Based On EXTEND

The production logistics system is a complicate open system, and it is so important that associated with peoples' living and the social progresses. The operation of production logistics system success or not, which influences our businesses and the society progressive. But simulation method is perfect, which can reduce cost and waste, also can as far as possible save the time in the logistics system.This paper is based on the research on simulation of production logistics system , we do some investigation in this enterprise of circuit board production . With the analysis of the condition of production logistics, we find out the solution of its system problem with the simulation method.There are a lot of methods and tools of the on the simulation of production logistics system, In this paper we do some research with the platform of EXTEND, which is developed by the Company of Imagine That. As we know, EXTEND is extensive accepted by many professions, such as communication, manufacturing, service, hygiene, logistics and military. The study of EXTEND is very short and it is also easy to set up a model. Most importantly, it is useful software with a low price.Firstly, according to the characters of production logistics system, with the analysis of the logistics system, the paper arguments that the system simulation technique is important on the research of the logistics system; it is the valid methods for logistics system research.; Secondly, it is based on the theories of system simulation, analyzes the methods and steps in the simulation of production logistics system, generalizes the function and characters of the simulation on EXTEND;Finally, we do some simulation on this production logitics system of circuit board production and find out the logitics system bottleneck with the simulation of EXTEND. And put forward a solution.
