The production logistics system is a complicate open system, and the operation of that success or not, which influence our enterprises and the society progressive. It is difficult for us to find the bottleneck factor to make some modification and improve the efficiency, which because the complexity and uncertainty of the environment of production logistical system. Experience has shown that the computer simulation is an effective tool which supporting the improvement and optimization of production logistics system. In this paper the simulation of production logistics system was chosen as the research background and the related modeling methods were discussed later. At last, the production system of a manufacturing enterprise as an example, propose a feasible measures to optimize, and provide the decision reference for determine the optimization Scheme ultimately of production logistics system by operation the software and analysis the simulation results.For the first, reviewing of logistics system's development at home and abroad, and expounds the development trend of the production logistics system base on it. At the same time, basic knowledge of system simulation is thoroughly studied, which explains the significance of system simulation in the study of product physical system. Secondly, fundamental theory of product physical system is introduced, integrated with the characteristic of logistics simulation software, and Summarized a production logistics system modeling and simulation of the general ideas, propose the steps of modeling and simulation. For the research and expounds by the eM-plant simulation software.At last, the reality production logistics system simulation modeling, set parameter, model verification, simulation results of operation and handling by the simulation software eM-plant. Based on the optimization of different objectives, change the parameters and conditions, running simulation model and analysis, contrast the simulation results and provide some feasible measures for increase productivity and reduce production costs of the enterprises.
