The taxation of tobacco industry is an important revenue for a country. Tobaccologistics, as a major part which generates costs, has a directly relationship with theeconomic benefits of an enterprise, so it will influence the taxation. Consequently, itis important to improve logistics management. Through the investigation and somerelated reference information, we found that, because of the high manufacturingautomation level, all cigarette enterprises are satisfied with their own productionlogistics level. As a result, the whole cigarette industries lack a standard evaluationsystem of production logistics, then many problems, such as the unreasonableequipment configuration, the low logistics management efficiency, are occurred. Tosolve these problems, this paper has made the following researches:1) Making an analysis of the characteristics of the production logistics system,then detailly introducing the main technological process which is closely related tothe production logistics. At the same time, presenting the current requirements of thecigarette production logistics and pointing out its shortages.2) According to the analysis of the production logistics and technological process,based on IDEF modeling method, the paper constructed the manufacturing processmodel IDEF0, the model IDEF3which describes the production logistics process.Also in order to clearly understand the parameter information of various facilitiesinvolved in the logistics activities, a data model IDEF1X was constructed. Throughthe establishment of these models, we can intuitively observe the production logisticsof cigarette.3) After analyzing the process of production logistics in detail, combined withSERVQUAL and relevant references, some factors which influence the satisfaction ofproduction logistics were proposed. Then through discussions and making surveyquestionnaires, some vital factors were selected and relevant data information wascollected as well. By processing the data information, a quantitative model based onstructural equation modeling (SEM) was constructed to describe the satisfaction ofproduction logistics.4) According to the analysis of IDEF model, a simulation model based on PlantSimulation software was constructed. After analyzing the result of the simulation, thevalidity of the simulation model was conformed. Then according to the degree of importance of factors acquired in the SEM, the paper made an analysis of how thenumber of AGVS influence the annual production capacity, also it found therelationship between the average running speed of AGV and the annual productioncapacity, then the relationship between the failure rate of the machine and the annualproduction capacity was found, at last it described the change of annual productioncapacity when introduced in new equipments.Those researches above are not only a clear description of the cigarettemanufacturing process, but also provide a method to evaluate the satisfaction of theproduction logistics. At the same time, by production simulation,we can know theeffects of vital factors on annual production capacity. All these researches will have aguiding significance to the cigarette production management and technologicalinnovation.
