The quantity of book rented is increasing, each kind of service of book management is also growing sharply. The traditional method has not been able to satisfy the books management request on public, convenience, popularity and long-distance, so I choose to develop this books management system, trying to make management system realize data unitizing on the base of long-distance working ability.In the article, the author briefly introduces the development process and the background of the project. Then it concretely narrates the basic knowledge, the application and the development aspect at present on MIS. And then it expatiates the run environment and background and basis in theory of the development of MIS. In this part, the author particularly introduces the basic knowledge, means of the software developing and it tells the basis and characters of the main developer tools-Delphi and the correlative academic basis of the layer of ADO. Then it briefly introduces the data development tools-SQL Sever 2000 and process framework analysis of the system. On the following chapter, the author mostly expatiates the whole design of the system. And finally it tells the process of development of the system.
