Piston compressors are widely applied in the industrial field because of their many characteristics suck as high compression ratio in single stage, high work efficiency and so on, but their fatalness and uncertainty increased with their scales. The development of the computer monitoring technology and computer network technology has brought very big convenience for people to operate compressor set more reliably and safely. The monitoring system of air compressor set is a product of these technologies.In the monitoring system of air compressor set, the PLC solves the problems about credibility and safety that many experts care for in industrial field, so it is widely applied as the lower level controller, meanwhile it is a low cost, short period scheme that we design friendly real time displaying windows by using configuration software in the super computer.The author dissertates the design and development for this project under the background of the air compressor plant of some oilfield branch for storage and transportation of oil and gas after knowing about the development domestic and overseas online monitoring technique.The article studies and summarizes the pulse of the online monitoring system of compressor in domestic and overseas field, meanwhile it analyses the characteristics of technics of the compressor set. Then the thesis gives the total design plan, hardware configuration and network communication plan of the air compressor set distributivity monitoring system, and it develops the PLC monitoring software of public parameters and the super computer monitoring software of the air compressor set monitoring system based on WinCC, and finishes the installation and debugging of the system. The running result shows that the system has good reliability, flexibility, interactivity and stability. As a conclusion, the article summarizes the main achievement in the whole research course and points out that the expert system including monitoring, analysis, diagnosis and displaying is the future direction for lots of researchers.
