Piston compressors are widely applied in the industrial field because of manyof their characteristics such as little expense, high work efficiency, widepressure range, better adaptability and so on. With the development ofmodernization and greatness of mine, the need of compressed wind is increasing.So the demand of security and reliability of the running of air compressors isgetting higher and higher. The development of automation technology and computertechnology has made the running of air compressors more reliable and safer andthe controlling simpler and easier. The centralized monitoring system of aircompressors is a product of these technologies.The thesis starts with the current development situation of domestic andoverseas industrial monitoring technique, takes air compressors reconstructionitem of a branch mine of some energy group Co., Ltd as background, and does someresearch on the design and development of air compressors centralized monitoringsystem.The article introduces the characteristics of arts and crafts of the aircompressors and sets the task for the centralized monitoring system accordingto the spot needs. Through the choosing and comparison of three control schemesof system, it finally decides to adopt the plan of air compressors distributedmonitoring system. The thesis chooses PLC and peripheral equipments for thecontrol system, and develops the PLC monitoring software of the air compressorsmonitoring system based on WinCC. Then it finishes the installation and debuggingof the system. The running result shows that the system has good reliability,stability and practicability and it also has improved the level of automatization,intelligence and humanness of all control system. In the monitoring system ofair compressors, the PLC solves the problems of reliability and safety that manyexperts care for in industrial field, so it is widely applied as the lower level controller. Meanwhile the friendly real time displaying windows which is designedby using configuration software in the super computer is a scheme of low costand snort period.As a conclusion, the article summarizes the main achievements in the wholeresearch course and points out how to improve the level of automation for thecontrol system to realize the final aim of nobody monitoring system of aircompressors.
