Abstract:with the continuous development of information technology, it is a common phenomenon to assist the physics teaching through the application of computer technology. Now the commonly used software for assisting the physic teaching include:Powerpoint, flash, authware and geometer’s sketchpad etc. This article uses physics teaching software based on the constructivism ideas, advanced education theory as well as educational technology guidance. Based on the real requirement of the physics teaching and combining the characteristics, integrated using difficulty as well as the using effect of different software, this article makes a conclusion that Power Point is more suitable for meeting the requirements in real teaching.This article takes cognitive development theory, constructivism theory and system scientific theory etc as the theoretical basis and it believes that it will optimize the teaching of physics in high school with the assist of Power Point and can also break through the keys and difficulties efficiently in the high school physics teaching. Meanwhile, it can culture the students’physics thinking ability.This article makes a research on various kinds of function development of power point in the physics courseware making and makes analysis and reflection of the physics teaching lesson in high school. It operates full assessment of the advantages and development potentialities of the power point in assisting the physics teaching in high school and proposes the methods and suggestions of using the power point to assist the physics teaching in high school based in the power point functional deficiencies.
