In recent years, with the unceasing rise of Chinese national strength and constant changes in domestic and international situations, nationalism in China has gained its power again and is expanding, and the rapid development of internet provides a new platform for the dissemination of the thoughts on nationalism, in response to which internet nationalism emerges. Chinese internet nationalism is the embodiment of the thoughts on nationalism under the condition of new media. Because of the specialty of internet dissemination, internet nationalism, compared with the traditional media's dissemination, has some new features.In order to make a thorough research on Chinese internet nationalism, the author of the thesis makes a deep analysis of some major problems related to Chinese internet nationalism, including its type, major components, its target and the reasons for its emergence, in the hope of dialectically recognizing the positive significance of Chinese internet nationalism and dangerous factors in it.
