Development Of Paperless Production System Based On Embedded Terminal In Tool Workshop

At present, the production management and technology information in the workshop is still transmitted by paper documents, e.g. drawing, process cards, process route bill etc, so the efficiency of information communication is very low, and the locale information can't be updated and controlled timely and accurately. The aftereffect is that informationizaton can neither be deep into the equipment level in the shopfloor and it is difficult to bring greater profits. Therefore,realizing paperless production in equipment floor is the urgent requirements of development of enterprise informationization.The main tasks of tool workshop are to produce equipments and some assist works for outside manufacturers. The production style is a typical style of small batch and large varieties, so the tasks change frequently, the paper documents, e.g. drawing, process cards, process route bill etc, need to be often changed and the management cost of the paper documents is very high, which cause inconvenience to the workshop production and management. Therefore, applying paperless production in tool workshop has representative and stringent significance. The thesis research builds a kind of paperless production style in tool workshop, in which embedded terminal serves as a medium for displaying, handling and storing information.First of all, through analyzing the restrictions from the current workshop production mode to enterprise informationization, the thesis proposes and sets a kind of embedded terminal based paperless production style in tool workshop, builds its architecture including organization system, function system and technology system and running model. The function system includes production management module,technology date management module,worker module and user management moduleSecondly, on the basis of paperless production mode in tool workshop, paperless production system based on embedded terminal is designed and developed, and the function model and information model are built by IDEF methodology. The work flow and interfaces of system integration are designed. According to the requirement of system, development tool is chosen, including database, application server and program language. According to the objectives of system, the system structure is designed and its characteristic is discussed.
