| With the development of computers network techniques, communicating face to face or voice with live vision is required to come true. Therefore, the visual telephone, which transfers the voice and video at the same time, can make people' s life more convenient.The paper put forward a project of visual telephone basing on broadband satellite telecom system. It discusses in details the whole process including video capture, video compressed and data transfer on satellite telecom system. With this practice, it will be a beneficial to study remote monitoring system and emergency chain of command in the future.The points this text want to contribute lies in;(1) We are not satisfied without video to command and monitor. And it is too expensive to setup a video conference system. With the deep consideration, I Integrated the MPEG-4 net visual telephone techniques with satellite telecom system, in order to support video return. This solution mainly solve the video data transferring and encoding, limited inbound bandwidth on satellite telecom system.(2) Based on satellite telecom system, they all use private IP address. I' d like to optimize the original visual telephone system used on internet, passed over the modules related with firewall and NAT applications.(3) The remote sites have MPEG-4 encoding and decoding functions. |
