Due to more and more application of Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) in war, theinteroperabilityand currencybetween UAV systems become veryimportant. In 2001.04, thefirstexperimenttocontrolthetake-offandlandingofAmericaNavy"Predator"is carriedoutby the tactical control system (TCS), which is developed by America Navy. In theexperiment, the launch and recovery, flight control and payload control is finished, and thedata can be received directly from"Predator".For investigate the framework, informationcriterionandkeycontroltechniqueofTCS,it'snecessarytotesttheprototypeofTCS.TosupporttheexperimentofTCSandtestthe missioncontrolofTCSondifferentUAV,it's necessary to found the simulation environment of UAV data link. This aim of thisresearchistostudythe methodofthesimulationoftheenvironment ofUAVdatalinkandtoresolve the key technique in the simulation. Using Link 16 simulation as an example, thefeasibilityofthesimulationmethodisvalidated. This paper first analyze UAV data link that is the simulation object. Started with theresearch of typical Link 16, the composition, structure, information standard, schedulecontrol, used concept in the campaign and the key technique that is applied in UAVmissioncontrolarestudied. Then the simulation technique and method are lucubrated. Using the analytical result ofLink 16 as reference, utilizing the idea of object-oriented modeling and based on HLA, thetotal frame of data link, communication model and partition of terminal software module, whichareappliedinUAVmissioncontrol, aredesigned.Further, thecommunicationprotocol oftheMAClayeroftheData Linkisanalyzed, theindependenttimeslot reservationselectionAlgorithmisbroughtforwardanditsperformanceistested;Theterminalworkingsoftwareisrealizedusingthetechniqueofmultithreading, thekey techniques like timing and synchronization, multithreading murex and synchronizationandveracityofthemessage aresolved. Finally, the experiments that support mission training and tactical control of thedeveloped simulation system and experiments that are used to test the performance of thesystem itself are carried out. The result shows that the successful realization of thisexperimental environment of UAV data link can not only support the test of TCS, but alsostudy the characteristic of the link data itself. It's very meaningful to development andapplicationofrealdatalink.
