Developing Research Of A Data Base System Of Career Management For University Students

Career development and management of university students is a hot topic of education especially at present time when there are more and more students who can't find a job when they graduate from universities. So they need career education in universities very much, but now the education can't satisfy this demand. Developing a database system of career management for these university students will deal this contradiction.Career counseling has a long history and a common process, so it is a mature domain and can be computerized. Developing such a kind of software to help university students managing their career is possible and valuable.After analyzing the theories and practical researches, I choose Delphi as a tool to develop this convenient and flexible career management system for university students.Chapter one focuses on the value of this research and the research background. Chapter two discusses the status of theory and practice research of career, and points out the support for the system. Chapter three is about the other systems and analyzes them in order to learn from their strong points to offset this system's weakness. Chapter four discusses the researches of data base technology, and also points out the support for this system. Chapter five introduces the function of this system in detail. Chapter six discusses the advantages and disadvantages of this system.
