The Design Research Of Career Planning And Decision Supporting System For Middle School Students

In order to adapt to the great trend of global education development,in order to realize personalized career choice for students,it is essential to guide students to make scientific career planning.But for a long time,in the elementary education stage in our country,the great emphasis was put on the study for theory and book knowledge learning,instead of the aspects on students career planning,exploiting,decision-making,and self-understanding,which makes the middle school students have no idea on themselves,neither to job career,not even mention to undergraduate majors,courses,and employment information.Thus,the ability of career planning for middle school students is in desperate need to be strengthened,and it is also essential and urgent to research a kind of career planning decision supporting system for middle school students which enjoys career exploration and decision making function.The system is mainly for the middle school students,and it could assist students to understand the different types of industry as we ll as their vocational characteristics,and also facilitates to establish a clear development aims on professional career,through various methods including help students with self cognition,self exploitation and discovering their own special abilities,so as to do well in the selection of subjects,courses,major choice as well as the course arrangements,finally make a good career developmental planning for future.The article starts with the undergraduate problem of “what we study is not what we love”,conducting a survey on 1,262 undergraduates of different majors and grades in university,and analyzing the reason of why appearing these problems among students and all of these has laid a solid foundation of designing career planning decision supporting system for middle school students.Then,under the support of correlative theory,technology,as well as the system,the article has designed and researched the career planning and decision supporting system for middle school students,working out two main modules of career testing and career decision making in detail,at the same time,describing the improved Association Rules of Mining Algorithm Apriori and data mining the accumulated undergraduates information from a software in a university.At last,it shows the related design details for this system.The article is proceeding from actual needs of middle school students' development,and has designed and researched the career planning and decision supporting system for middle school students,with the great expectation that under the help of this system,the middle school students could make a better planning for their future,as as to cutting down the confusion of “What we study is not what we love”.At the same time,More expectation is pinned that the research results can be served as a reference to later relevant researchers.
