A Study On The Two-dimensional TV Program Classification

Now, the program which has innovative form and rich content emerges one after another incessantly. The phenomenon caused by two main factors: First, with the commercialization of television, the market competition became more and more intensely. Second, audience tastes are raising and the TV expectation promotes increasingly. It makes the programming unit to seek innovative content and form, thereupon, the new type program emerges unceasingly. The program shows diverse, rich and personalized style. These programs not only attract viewers, but also bring new research of the TV programs classification.The thesis expounds the current TV programs types, attempts a new program classification, proposes the relationship between program type and presenter quality, try to conduct the development of TV presenter. The article first analyzes the crux of current programs classification, that is the classification criteria are chaotic and the classification results are overlapping. Then it proposes one kind of new programclassification------"two-dimensional classification". This method gathered each kindof beneficial factor of the traditional program classification, clearer and more comprehensively includes all programs, at the same time does not overlap and cross. Finally, using the qualitative and quantitative methods to deal with the program types of two-dimensional classification and the corresponding quality of presenters, and then summarizes the TV presenters' basic quality.
