Since the Since the reforming and opening-up of China, the broadcasting industry is developing rapidly. Consequently, programs with presenters have become a major broadcasting channel which is receiving much attention from people and the profession of presenters has also become a first choice for many youngsters. However, currently, the administration and training of presenters are relatively weak. Some presenters are weak in their understanding of policies; some have a really narrow knowledge; some make many mistakes in the program; some don't have a distinguished style and particularly some presenters are not professional. These problems have become a great barrier for improving the quality of programs. Therefore, to analyze the quality of presenters and the ways of training is of great significance for establishing a scientific system to administrate and train competent program presenters.Through analyzing the developing history of program presenters in China and the process of establishing a standard to value their qualities, the paper clarifies the necessary elements to value a presenter and the dynamic relations between them. A survey was made to investigate the status quo of presenters in Jilin province and their opinions on self-evaluation. Through analysis of the comprehensive ability of program presenters and the current training system, the paper tries to find out a reasonable way to combine self-training, further education in colleges and working practice and to find out the interactive relationship between the presenters' development and development, so that presenters can make clear their own characteristics, shortcomings and their future targets. The paper also aims to help them find out the best way to develop their career by combining their own knowledge structure and the media environment and to help create a favorable outside environment for presenters' training, selection and evaluation.
