The Research And Design About The Data And Route Search In The Vehicle Navigation System

The vehicle navigation system is the inevitable outcome that the satellite navigation technology has been applied in the vehicle navigation field. Its development is closely relative to the development of the global position system (GPS), Geography Information system (GIS), wireless communication technology, computer technology and electronic technology. With the vehicle navigation theory, the position technology and the computer software and hardware technology greatly developed, the vehicle navigation system has made vehicles more informational, intelligent and multimedia.Although the vehicle navigation system developed for a short time in China, it has had a great prospect and has been applied in many fields such as finance, transportation and travel. The vehicle navigation system is an important part of intelligent transportation system that not only realizes safety, expedite drive but also alleviate transportation jams. The vehicle navigation system functions include data search, route abduction, map display, vehicle position and route calculation.This thesis has an emphases analysis on data and route search system including map data format (KIWI), control mechanism of multi-threading and COM component application. Map data format supports a kind of highly effective data structure and management pattern. The control mechanism of the multi-threading can make data search system run a few kinds of search in the same time. The part of COM component analyses how COM component is made, how data resource is set, how interface is defined and how COM component is used.At the end, this thesis incorporates the concrete process of data and route search, including summary design, class structure and data flow. In addition, it introduces other modules in the vehicle navigation system.
