A Reserch Into New Journalism

As a rebellion of the press circle, New Journalism came into being in USA in the 1960s, yet after 10 years of splendor, as a mixture of both excellence and drafts, it fragmented amid public criticism and disappeared from the stage of journalism.Looking back on the world journalistic history, though New journalism has turned into a historic name, yet either as a journalistic idea or as a pattern of reporting,its emergence, uprising and declining, is a serious theorectical topic for study.In this perspective, a further study of New journalism from the theoretical aspect is of practical use both for enriching the framework of journalism and for guiding journalistic practices.Hence this dissertation will mainly deal with two aspects, both in theory and practice.
