The technology of digital signal processing has made great progress with the development of information science and chip technology since it was born in 1960s. DSP system has many advantages such as high precision, good stability, good flexibility, high integrity, convenient interface and so on. The digital system that based on DSP has been widely used in the fields of communication, electronic, computer and so on. This paper discusses a Signal Analysis System based on TMS320C5402 Fixed-Point DSP after analyzing the developing situation of the Vibration Signal Acquisition and Analysis System both inside and outside of China. And than we can find that the performance of the Signal Analysis System becomes more perfect.Firstly, the paper describes the significance of Vibration Signal Measurement and Analysis System in the industrial production and the domestic and international developments of the system. And give a brief description of the Vibration Signal Acquisition System. Secondly, describe in detailed of the Signal Analysis System based on DSP. Integrity introduce the development process of this system; introduces the theory and realization of Digital Signal Processing; elaborate on the functions and characteristics of the DSP chips and the software development environment CCS, which emphases on the characteristics and advantage of TMS302C5402 chip of TI company. This paper uses FFT principles when analyzing the signal in the DSP, so it elaborates the realization technique of FFT which used in fixed-point DSP. Through the introduction of this key technology, it is further approved that it's more convenient to realize FFT when using DSP. Finally, introduces a process of the realization of a base-2 real number FFT in the DSP.
