As a simple oscillograph, High Speed Signal Acquisition & Display System using LSIC(large scale integration circuits) and LCD(liquid crystal display), it can directly display analog signals wave, analyze and process analog signals easily. The design and implementation of this system was discussed in detailed in the dissertation, which realized by a new design idea, featured small size and powerful functions.The system discussed in the dissertation has the compact architecture built with DSP (digital signal processor) and FPGA (field programmable gate array). By using LCD (liquid crystal display) it provides the friendly menu interface for user's convenient operation. The embedded processor TMS320VC5416 of TI Inc. controls the whole system, and at the same time it functions data processing. The FPGA of ALTERA Inc. works as a important part, with which many functional modules, including a controller of LCD display, a FIFO (first in first out) memory, a controller of sampling clock, and so on, were implemented.The dissertation emphasized on the design and implementation of the hardware and software of the system. In the software, the program of DSP and FPGA were mainly discussed.The implementation of this system provides a useful and credible test flat for the signal processing and analyzing in experimentation.
