The modernization of our aviation equipment has been largely improved along with the development of technology and traction of the military preparedness demands. The maintenance and support of the huge equipment with high technology such as aircraft becomes more and more complex, and is up against two problems which are high support cost and low availability. One of the most effective measures to solve such problems is to establish an improved maintenance and support system. Spares support system is one of the most important parts of the maintenance system. Confirming the number of the spares and the allocation and supplying in all levels support system would directly influence the availability of the equipment. At the same time, the spare costs take up a quite great share. One of the most important problems is how to optimize spare inventory allocation scientifically, and seek the best balance between spare cost and availability.This thesis uses the aircraft repairable spares supply and support as the application background. The simulation optimization approach for the aircraft repairable spare supply and support is researched according to the analysis of the spares supply and support process. And then two levels aircraft repairable spare supply and support simulation optimization system was designed and implemented. The system is validated by a demo. The thesis contents are summarized into the following parts:1. The aircraft repairable spares supply and support problem is resolved using the simulation optimization, on the basis of the research on the spares supply and support process.2. The two levels aircraft repairable spares supply and support system simulation model is proposed. And the framework of spares supply and support simulation optimization system is designed.3. A spares supply and support simulation optimization system with Genetic algorithms is realized in the OpenBlock modeling environment. A demo and its result are introduced.
