Global economic integration and the rapid development of computertechnology as well as network technology, led directly to the manufacturingcompetitive environment, development patterns and space changes. How to makethe best use of integrated resources, enhance the international competitiveness ofthe manufacturing sector, and actualize leapfrog development, has become a hotissue in China. Using network technology and computer technology, to developnetwork manufacturing systems for manufacturing of China, in support of therelevant enterprises of different products distributed design and manufacturing,thereby creating enterprise resource integration and collaboration projects will bescattered to create an effective integration of resources, to formation of the coreadvantages of lower costs, improve business efficiency and effectiveness. Forthese reasons, this paper worked for mold enterprise needs analysis andprogramme design for the overall system firstly.This paper compared and researched the relevant technologies of the currentmanagement system, then choosed the technologies of the system. This paperanalysed the UML and the XML related technologies, the Web databasetechnologies, and contrast the C/S structure file management systems and B/Sstructure file management systems. Thus make clear that the technologies ofdevelopment the injection mold document management systems. We using B/Sstructure, J2EE platform, Oracle database, JDBC accessing technologies and so on,to develop the document management system.The paper ensured the systems architecture of the platform using, and userinterface design concepts has been given. The technical structure of the system isJ2EE multi-storey model of distributed applications (including client layer, Weblayer, operation logic layer,data layer and so on). Operational framework, based onthe analysis of daily work of the parts and components manufacturing enterprisesdemands, the design of the system can be expanded, multi-storey structure can beassembled, primarily by functional layer and operational functions of thefoundation layer composition between different ways to loose coupling. Thinclient interface of system has unified design model. The interface is divided intofour parts (namely fast functional column, navigation column, the main show area,and status column). The fat client interface of system achieved by Javaapplications primarily that only through thin and fat client interface to thecustomer interface links activated.The paper particularly researched the system configuration for details and theinstallation of the networked manufacturing platform. Explored the injection molddocument management system (inculding four modules: create documents, browsedocuments, search documents and check out folders and so on). The function ofcreate documents is based on the need to establish related documents, and cancheck reference files and file attributes among affiliation files. User can uploadand download the relevant accessories. The function of browse is shown compliantfile attributes. The function of search documents is to search files through therelevant information. The function of check-out files is for users to check allfolders and files which in check-out state.The injection mold document management system has major features as thefollowing: First, different users can collaborative design through the system, thiscan greatly limit the use of resources. Second, for the management of files, thesystem has its own unique way, users do not have to worry about lost or damagedfiles. Third, users can search files through the precise or vague in their search forquick search of the files needed, and can directly operate the files through searchresults. Fourth, users can understand the status of a file quickly which can bedetermined on the basis of files they decide their tasks, thereby saving users timeand can improving maximum efficiency.Summing up the above points, it can be seen that the injection moldmanagement system applications prospects are very bright. Whether the mouldenterprises or networking related manufacturing enterprises can use the filemanagement system.ivFinally, the paper presented the injection mold document management systemfor the future direction of development:(1) Using a group of technologies, components and its constituent parts to thefunctions and structure of the classification. Molded plastic components for theproducts and detailed data for the overall database design and physical design.(2) Building the Mold Design Information Query System(MDIQS). Thedesign database include:mold materials database, plastic materials database, theparameters of the injection machine, which may facilitate the design ofinformation within the enterprise designers enquiries use, and enhance theefficiency of the design molded plastic components.
