After joining the WTO, China's auto industry is facing not only the impact of foreign automotive products, what is more serious is the automobile services market competition. The supply of auto parts is one of the important parts of after-sale service, especially enterprise funds are occupied by after-sale parts inventory, and it increases enterprise management workload and the difficulty. Some automobile enterprises with rich fund have established their own after-sale management system;however to most small and medium automobile manufacturing enterprises, they do not have the economic and technological strength. Based on the automobile industry chain cooperation platform, a new solution for collaborative after-sale service which is based on ASP(Application Service Provider) is put forward for these enterprises, and the auto parts management system in the solution is designed and implemented.Firstly, the basic operations and the existent problems in after-sale service of small and medium automobile manufacturing enterprises are analyzed, and the relation between collaborative after-sale service and the automobile industry chain cooperation platform is introduced, then the functional structure and physical structure of collaborative after-sale service system are designed. Furthermore, the operations and existent problems of auto parts management in the after-sale service are discussed in detail, system analysis is conducted, and the functional modules of auto parts management are also described in brief. The work of modeling is finished by XDE with UML. To implement auto parts management system, some related technologies on .Net environment are used. Based on this, the compression of SOAP message in Web Services is researched, and a assembly named Compress used to compress and decompress SOAP message is realized. Finally, the application of the system is introduced, and the system problems and the next step of thedirections of research are noted.
