Civilianized journalism appeared in the early 20th century and grew in the 1920's.The impulse is the changes on the systems of politics and economy. In the end of the 20th century every sides of China society began to embody the tendency of civilianized. As the part of the society, the media went with the tide and reformed themselves actively.After 1949,evening paper practiced the concept of civilianized journalism firstly. City paper, which appeared in the 1980's,not only succeeded this concept but also extended its content, which included not only mundane life but also solemn topics such as politics and economy. The brand-new topics extended the eyes of the common people and provided a common flat to discuss the public affairs. On the city paper's influence, some government began to absorb the concept of the civilianized. The practice proved one who held the masses would succeed at the market finally.Certainly, the development route of the concept of the civilianized journalism was devious. Excessive competitions led more and more yellow sheet to appear. They called this kind of news civilianized journalism. It is obviously that we need to newly define the concept of the civilianized news.This article analyzes the background of the appearance of the civilianized news and its negative impact on the press, the society and the audience.
