Design And Implementation Of Scientific Research Project Knowledge Portal

Scientific research activity is a kind of work that creates, develops and improves knowledge and develops new application of knowledge, which includes exploration of unknown problems and unknown fields as well as the arrangement, differentiation and application of knowledge that already have had. After a scientific research project finishes, not only its own achievements are valuable, all knowledge resources it produces will contribute on subsequent scientific researches. Along with the fields involved in scientific research project extending gradually, inter-regional cooperation growing increasingly, a public platform without any time and region restriction to meet the scientific research experts' requirements for work cooperation and knowledge sharing is required. But, traditional scientific research project management devotes to project overall management, such as procedure, personnel, funds and resource, etc., cannot meet requirements for knowledge management in scientific research process of the scientific research project.As a knowledge management platform, knowledge portal can effectively support knowledge management process, and realize the integration of knowledge creation, exchange, transmission and storage, which has been generally applied in government, enterprise and education field.This paper applies knowledge portal in scientific research project management, designs and implements a scientific research project knowledge portal for supporting research process knowledge management. Major work is as follows:1. The implementation business procedure of scientific research is analyzed. The way of obtaining knowledge generated in project business process, and interactive mode between research and evaluation experts are designed.2. A knowledge storage model is constructed which stores the contents of exchange and discuss between members, problem solution, papers published and knowledge collected during scientific research. This model establishes foundation for knowledge sharing and use.3. A knowledge push model of knowledge resource and project stage is constructed, which pushes appropriate knowledge resource to experts after matching between knowledge content and project stages.4. The architecture of MVC (model-view-controller) is used in the specific realization of this knowledge portal, which makes the business logic view and the user view separated. It makes the systematic implementation and maintenance easier. In this paper, a platform for supporting the integration of knowledge management process and scientific research project implementation process is constructed, a way of knowledge sharing between similar scientific research projects is proposed, and the scientific research project knowledge portal is accomplished, which has some fundamental study on improving scientific research knowledge management ability.
